What a treat it is to create public art! The thought of children and/or the general public enjoying my artwork is so inspiring! The choice of images and colors that might best suit the tone of what is represented and the clientele who will be viewing the space is an exciting puzzle to solve.

I feel I have accomplished this objective with my work, and it is very satisfying to hear the feedback of those who are enjoying it!

This first exhibit entitled “Dewey Decimal Murals" was commissioned and funded by a Falmouth, Massachusetts Education Foundation Grant. The grant proposal was authored by Kathy Rodriguez, Teaticket School Librarian.

This exhibit comprises five murals, each depicting one of five habitats, with the five ‘Dewey' subjects labeled by number on each work.
